Concermate 990 is great I'm enjoying it tremendously. Now I want to move up with it. How do I hook it up to my PC and get the best of it. I want to start saving the music I make so I can free one of the two memories. Thnx

I have one I bought for $89 at a pawn shop for the express purpose of midi controling my sblive and sb awe32 soundcard samplers on my computers.I have played it and it has patterns that inspire to create.the sounds are pretty good and yes it IS a CASIO CTK601 with a realistic name.do love the fact it is the only casio like keyboard that does not have that annoying auto shut off feature when plugged in with a wall wart!!

It has general MIDI that sounds crisp, though some sounds sound very much like the same thing, but it also has some very nice synth sounds that are included (some of them sound like old nintendo sound fx). I was disappointed with the amount of tracks it can store (2) but for the price it was a good deal.

With 61 keys, 8 drum kits, a synthesizer & MIDI In and Out, ( just to name a few features) its a great deal, especially for the price.

I bought this keyboard a while ago as something to practice on (I'm trying to get the hang of playing the piano =P)... It sat under my bed until last week, when I pulled it out to play with for the hell of it... I started really liking a few of the sounds (not many, but a few)... It's a real simple keyboard to work, the interface is straightforward and everything is right there.
