I love the Juuno 60 for the appegiator trigger. I used to split the bass drum output
and have a bass drum trigger the arpeggiator. What a grrovin bass line & always tight!! I want to buy a MIDI retrofitted Juno 60. If anyone wants to sell one, I am ready to buy!!

Another classic synth. Though it was pre-midi and it has some MINOR problems with chorus, it was great....I could achieve a Distorted Guitar (using a distortion box) and some great string patches with little difficulty (though the string patch was so over used, it got boring after a while). A popular
80's Synth. I didn't get a manual, but for $300 it didn't really matter. It has all the classic bass and pad sounds in it...a great investment (a midi box would help

In my synthcollection I have two Juno 60's. One with and one without midi. I also bought a Juno 106 to see which one was better. Well, just buy the Juno 60. It's much beefier. How ? I don't know. But I think the Juno60 outputs its sound much louder from its jacks. To try this, just patch up a Square bass program on both machines, using the same parameters and hear the difference. Have not used it recently on a mix, because all my other synths seem weak by comparison.

The synth is very phat sounding, but loss of portamento and patches/presets is extremely annoying. Usually on the Juno-60/106 there are presets to mess with and experiment. On the Juno-60 it's kind of lame, you can't have thoose great advantages that Juno-60 and 106 offer.

I make techno so I am always on the lookout for a good analog synth. I got my Juno 60 last week for $219 and it came with a case, the original manual. This thing is absolutely mint, not even the slightest scratch. Nice trippy bass sounds. I'm now on the lookout for a Jupiter 6 which I hear is even better. This thing blows my CS1x away.
