Paul (songwriter) a hobbyist user from England writes:
Pros: Easy to use, hands on, addictable, you can rely on it to produce the sound you

want, it looks nice (important),it feels good to play ,it can be very flexible, cheap,

you can create a wide range of timbres. THE BEST MULTIPURPOSE SYNTH AROUND.

Cons: You really need the Kenton Pro-DCB to use it to its full potential, so tack on another

£130 to the price. I have a lot of problems saving data to tape (I'm not sure if it's just

my one). It just doesn't have the corse sound of a 70's synth. The alpha Juno has more

features and is cheaper (but some would say that the sound isn't as good).

Overall: I wouldn't part with mine for all the world, need I say more?

Sam Paterson a hobbyist user from Kent, Ohio (USA) writes:
A while ago I bought my Roland Juno-60 from my local music store used for

about $300. I didn't know anything about it, but at that time I had just

started to get into analog synths so I picked it up. There was no instruction

manual and it took me a hell of a long time to figure it out since nobody

else knew a thing about it (although one I got the hang of it, understanding

the functions of my Moog 0pus-3 was relatively easy). I now know and love

every function of my Juno except the tape load thing. My friend's dad has

a Juno-106 and I'm waiting for him to tell me about it.

Overall, I think the Juno-60 is a damn good instrument. Coming from the later

part of the analog period, it has a wide selection of functions. I wish more

synthesizers sounded like it.
