I primarily use this keyboard with my Roland PMA-5. And unlike previous reviewers - I actually have gigged with it and probably will again in the future.
The way I view it, the Roland AX-1, which I also have only has 45 keys. (Sometimes I miss not having that extra quarter octave)
Herein lies it great usage: To hook up a second sound source simply for right hand comping. To hook up to a second sound source for left hand bass lines.
The touch of this is amazing. Dynamically more responsive than the Yamaha controller or any of the Fatars that I have owned. The others have touched on features, I wanted to talk about functionality.
Only a 4 because I would like it to send aftertouch by means other than the slider. Dwane

Now, this is a cool keyboard for a starter, and I still keep it along for performances with my Alesis QS8. Hook it up as a spare MIDI controller, and it's cool to use. Easy to setup. As someone said, not primarily for performances, but if you're on a budget and can live without all the conveniences, this'll do ;)

This is a great keyboard for a computer setup or home studio; it is not
intended for use in any sort of performance scenario. If you need a low
profile keyboard for data entry purposes only, then this is the way to go,
though I would prefer at least 61 keys.
