I bought an sh101 because everyone seems to have one. It was my first real analog synth and i thought it was really great...then i got the sh1.

This little sh1 is simply astounding. The sound is the biggest and most emotional I have ever heard first hand. It puts my jupiter 6 to shame. It offers tons of little unique ways to change the sound.

I lucked out by randomly finding one on ebay for just a bit more than an sh101 would cost. It looks beautiful and sounds even better. It talks to me and sometimes cries. Everyone else isn't just making it up, this is a very emotional board. And its sound works with a lot of other, newer synthesizers.

If you can find one, get it and you will understand.

Get a MIDI-to-CV/Gate-Converter and let it scream... or thunder. Sounds are still stable and wicked after two dozen years. I do the Basslines for every style from Breakbeat over Techno to Speedcore with this Baby.

It made me cry. The emotion you get out of this beautiful machine is so extreme. I would lift a building to save it. All that owne one. You need not for me to describe what it can do. Other than make you cry.

I just got one of these things today. $200 at a music store. I can't believe the price? especially from a store that would sell a DX-7 for $895. It's a beautiful looking and sounding board. You can't go wrong with one of these. ... I'm feeling very emotional, forgive me if I don't talk about its tech specs!
