I bought the SH201 but sold it on Ebay within 3 weeks. It was decent, just wish it had an LCD and 61 keys more than anything. I like the Alesis Ion much better for certain things.

Very happy and satisfied with mine. A synth that just gets to the point like the Nord Leads. Excels at pads, strings, basses, and leads IMO. People have problems with the build quality but I found it more robust than the JP-8000 I had. (Sold it after purchasing the SH-201) The keys feel great for a synth at this price point and the sound always seems to fit quite nicely in a mix.
I was also happy that only reverb and delay were added as effects since one can adjust a delay to chorus, phase, or flange. Adds a lot of freedom and customization to the user in the FX department. :)
Really, for what you get and what it's capable of there's really no reason not to own one of these. I really haven't been happy with Roland since the XP-60 but I wholeheartedly support them on the SH-201. Nice job fellas. :D
My SH-201 sits happily along with an S90ES, PolyEvolver Keyboard, Nord Rack 2X, and an MPC-2500.
