Ive got one of these buggers, don't know why though. Its a pig.Looks crap, sounds crap, does nothing that a decent modern synth can,t do better.I bought it of a friend who needed the money for 50 pounds many years ago. I read somewhere that they now change hands for over four hundred pounds which is unbelievable so if any mug wants mine.....

i have 2 sh2`s. i run them through a lovetone ring stinger cv`d and gated up. voila, instant modular madness. yes we like it a lot. instant bass lines although i find it a bit thin for lead lines. but put through the ring modulator they really come alive.

i don't own one but oftenly use one in the studio.that one is easily out of tunes, needs warm up a while,30 mins enough.but sometimes fails again in the middle of the session.its warm sounding but not too deep.2 oscs can have more possibilities, imo, these 2 oscs better than those 4oscs in monopoly.good bass, leads, sweep and efx, but, still not so deep enough.

I put the SH-2 thru a MoogerFooger 12-stage phaser to split the signal into stereo. With loong, soft LFO on the SH2 and a mediumstrong on the MF it swims in a really hypnotizing way...

and they can work together too!

Yes, this piece of synth is really cool. I get it for ~200$ in very excellent shape. I added a selfmade spring reverb and run it through a slow rotating leslie. without reverb, this synth sounds (like most monosynths) dry and not so fat. the leslie adds some motion and sounds awesome. you can get countless usable sounds out of it. It's not like most other junk which can actually produce some impressive space-sounds, but nothing really worthful for music. i want to ad a multieffectbox, this would be a nice enhacement. cheers, M.
