I'm sorry but the comment about the screen squirks ain't not true. As a matter of fact those squirks CAN happen but IF they happen you're not forced to stop playing. Usualy the screen is filled with random patterns and only the active areas will be repainted. Just switch to another screen page (like the MDB, the mixer or anything else) and press 'EXIT' and eveything is just like before.
I used the PSR-9000 for two years in my home studio as well as on stage and I have to say this thing really rocks. Of course it has it weaks but it offers by far more strengths. You never heard so realistic and sweet sounding voices of such a stunning quality out of a keyboard or even synthesizer. The 9000pro got some extra brasses and drums plus a decent completly new Live!Piano patch. Only extensive GigaSampler libraries can beat this but nothing else.
Playing the machine with styles combined with registration memory or the music database least to hours of joy - for you and your audience. Don't get applause - get standing ovations…
