I've got the CS01 MkII, and I think that for it's small size and dirt-cheap price on the second-hand analog synth market this little thing is a steal. The sawtooth and PWM waves are especially fat and raw-sounding, and adjusting the pulse width with the slider adds nice motion to the sound. The resonance on the VCF is one of the most squeally that I've ever heard...when you slide the resonance up just over half way the sound is absolutely ear-piercing, which makes me wonder what kind of crazy freq. response is built into this thing! Keep the reso setting a little tamer, and you get a classic squealchy sound. Wish LFO had sample/hold, and that there was true portamento/slide instead of glissando, but considering this all comes in such a tiny toy-looking box, it's amazing the sound potential and quality that is already there! As a side note, the unit has a nice weight to it, heavier than you'd expect from its appearence, but nice because I like to think of all the true analog circuitry inside!
