Best Sampler in this price range, but everytime you resample a sequence, you have to cut a very few seconds from the beginning.
Thanks to Mattman for the secret information.

Fun little sampler. I haven't gone into the deeper features, but it is great to loop snippets and then warp them into beautiful noise through resampling.
Maybe not pro-gear, as such, but for the cost/potential proportions, it can't be beat.
For the card problem mentioned below, the machine only takes smartmedia cards up to 16mb. The "no card" error comes, if I remember correctly, from trying to format a larger card.

The only thing I can say about the zoom is that I'm in love with it. I do a lot of tracks with it and like everyone is saying: use the resample function for making songs. it is only 32 khz, but that makes it a raw machine and you can pump your tracks up in the computer. you can also load .wav files wich is a cool function. When I use the zoom st224, I make my tracks entirely on the zoom because of it's raw sound. I also love the lowpass filter wich I use for my bass sounds a lot. it's a very good sampler for it's money. a friend of mine owns the boss sp 303 (wich has better soundquality) but he would trade it without thinking for the zoom. one more thing: the drumpads are one of the best I know and the quantizing is one of a kind. again, I'm just in love!!!!!
