VIDEO: Brian May Performs With Lady Gaga At VMAs
Queen guitarist goes Gaga on You And I 30-Aug-11
It might not be the done thing in the rock world to give public praise to Lady Gaga... but this video is brilliant. She comes out dressed as a dude, rants about herself in the third person, breaks into song, performs a dance routine, then brings out Brian May (the look on Dave Grohl's face is priceless), and then sprays beer all over the crowd (not a euphemism) whilst dancing on top of her piano.
No wonder all of the other pop stars had such pensive looks on their faces.
Lady Gaga got her name from Queen's Radio Gaga, and Brian May played on the recording of her song You And I, what's more, she's been hanging out with members of Anthrax, and has recently done some roadie work for Iron Maiden. She was obviously brought up on a good diet of music.
If you want to skip to the part where the song starts, it's at about 3:30, if you want to skip to the part where Brian May plays, it's at about 6:30.
