'THAT' Beatles Chord Revealed By Randy Bachman

So the debate is over, right? 14-Dec-11

I must say, I have never had a debate with anyone about the chord at the beginning of 'A Hard Day's Night' by The Beatles, but I have sat and wondered many times how such a beautiful sound was created.

Others have debated about it however, and there is a great deal of online literature on the matter. Finally, it seems we have closure on the matter from Randy Bachman, who was privileged enough to listen to the master tracks.

You can find out more by watching the video above, but needless to say, the harmonic wonder is created by the combined genius of Harrison, Lennon, and McCartney.

Randy has finally solved it in a way that's pretty much irrefutable! He and I go a way back and he's completely trustworthy in my books. Alan
