I posted some info on this beat-box a few months back, and for some's not here! I'll try to be less scandalous this time ;)

The DR-110 is a TON of fun, and perfect for the price. The sounds are fantastic, it's extremely user-friendly and the little silver case is so cute!

The 'accent' button is really amazing (I use it on everything to make it sound really sharp), and to give your snare a 'trip-hop' feel, try overdubbing a handclap on the same beat. It adds quite a bit of depth to the sound.

UNFORTUNATELY: my brother's band used my DR-110 and accidentally left it on for about 30 hours. It still works fine, but the LCD is totally burned out. Anybody out there got a spare LCD from guinea-pig kits?

This box is great. I bought one used without a manual and figured it all out within about an hour. The Accent feature is the hidden gem on this unit. Also, when recording at high levels, it overmodulates to the point where the snare sound gets nice and 'clappy'. All in all, a great little drum machine

It may not be TR-606/808/909 standard, but his is a BBAADDDD boy!! Sh!t, I love this machine with a serious passion. Put down grooves while your at work, and the good thing is that it'll sound good. Hip-hop, Techno producers out there, grab one, the drums are NICE, and ANALOG!! No midi hookups, but I heard there are mods for this box so you can have it trigger, midi'd, drum tuning, and outputs!! These machines can EASILY be had for less than $60, and you can make up TIGHT tracks while your taking a dump, or even in bed!! Seriously. It's EAZY to program, and the kicks, snares, hi-hats, and claps are extra nice. I can't wait to get the mods done on my box, and have kix and snares that rival the expensive 808/909 machines. ..Rox Wondaz..
