I have my own recording studio, and was talking to a friend a over a couple of wines recently and this little Keyboards name came up whistle talking of the past and so I looked on E-bay and bid for a couple and eventually got one at a price I concidered realistic, because it's name and memory made me smile, I recently put it through a Neumann M149 which went into a manley voxbox, now think about that equasion....a $4,000 mic going into a $4,000 preamp compressor and a $25 keyboard! it make no sense at all and nor does this keyboard, but I'm putting onto a track that I intend to release.it's just a little gadget that makes you smile and you can't pay enough to smile.

This is a silly little thing. I've used mine as a calculator to do accounts on since the 80s. Great fun. Iconic in some ways. It stands for the cheesey 80s as much as pastel colours, big hair, tight shiney suits and rah rah skirts. £70...wow! Though I can see why. Wasn't one sold for thousands some time ago in some special auction. Mad! You rarely see them about. I saw a few for sale on the Sound on Sound web page. Weren't expensive, though were probably sold. The 2 'rock' drum beats are great and have been used to death. I will use them one day. Just wait for everyone else to stop! The demo is pure cheese. I don't know why I am awarding five marks. I just know it's right. There is nothing else like it.

These are great fun. Not much synth power but rewarding to use and quite useful. The asdr is a nice feature. The keyboard is quirky but you wouldn't want it any other way. The VL is becoming quite difficult to find. Not many cheap ones about. £35 is a good price. £50-60 is a rip off but people will pay.
