I bought my MK7VA directly from CHEETAH when it had just been discontinued. The price was an amazing £60. I used it for years but recently when wanting to use it again, thepower supply has gone missing. Can anybody please tell me the specifications so I can buy a new one?

I bought one of these via mail order too. Biggest mistake I ever made. In the end it was a close run thing whether I would use this or a Casio VL Tone as a master keyboard. It was the last thing I ever bought without trying it first.

What a pile of crap.

Don't understand that - I used my Cheetah for years and have loved it. The only reason its packed away at the moment is its so damn big and I just moved to a smaller house!

Build quality - so bloody sturdy, feels like its made of iron. The 2 digit LED is a nuisance, but fairly common when it was made. The keyboard is touch and after touch sensitive - I'm not a piano player, I'm a synth player - for me the keyboard feels great - fast enough to play but weighted enough to "dig in" and get some expression. For a 7 octave keyboard, the price I paid was a bargain. Never had anything go wrong with it either.

Alan Broady a hobbyist user from UK originally, now living in The Netherlands writes:
People - My bad review of above keyboard has nothing whatsoever to do with the Cheetah Master Series 7P. This is a totally different and rather more expensive keyboard. I would just like to stress this as I continuously get email from 7P users asking why I am slagging off their machine! I'm not! As far as I know the 7P is a fine piece of gear. The MK7VA on the other hand is probably the worst master keyboard ever manufactured. You will notice that Cheetah are no longer in business to defend themselves or give me my money back :-(
