Henning Madsen a part-time user from Denmark writes:
I bought the Polychrome secondhand some 14 years ago, and the sound of this mighty keyboard still amazes me. The piano and guitar presets sound very analog, but the real attraction is the vocal choir presets, which are totally outstanding. Although they are not sampled, the sound is so full and warm, and combined with strings, and routed through a sensible effect unit for adding digital reverb, this keyboard produces a unique sound. There are separate outputs for the various sections, and an input which allow for a second keyboard, guitar etc to be routed through the effect section of the Polychrome (rather nice!). I certainly would not sell my beloved Polychrome.

Billy Ray a professional user from Holland writes:
The Farfisa-polychrome is a pre DX-7 analogue monster-synth.It is endlessly polyphonic and has aftertouch,it contains 6 modules;percussive, strings, ensemble, phaser, modulation( split, white noise, etc.) and last but not least the vocal chorus, a fatter than fat analogue voice- simulation that thrills. . . I would trade it for a roland tr 808.
