The Quasimidi Raven is a very fine keyboard. I sold mine a few years ago, but had to get another one :-) Very unique sounding! Im glad i got another one. btw....the keys are extra long for those of you with big hands. and the Raven is heavy. you wont need to lift weights if you carry this puppy around. built to last! if you decide to get one try to find one with the MAXX board already installed. This doubles your ROM and is totally worth it :0))

BTW if you want something to tweak extensively, you should look elsewhere... it has great sounds, great keyboard action, great features... it's very robust: it will last forever! and it's beautiful too... pair it with a V.A. with lots of knobs and realtime controls and you've got all that you need! many synths got bad presets but lets you change them like you want... but not everyone is a synth genius... this isn't much tweakable but it has GREAT SOUNDS inside! you can't go wrong with this!

This machine is tricky. It seems a casio for pattern-players and not meant for professionals. Is has lack in midi-options etc etc.

BUT........................

If you use it wisely (!) it is the best synth ever produced.
