I am considering purchasing a used Roland Fantom and was wondering if the earlier models have been upgraded. In other words do I run the chance of buying an obsolete Fantom?

Be careful, every sound in this KEyboard sounds the same! Whether its a flute or a String Ensemble. The Acoustic Drums are the best on the Market but the other Sounds are Weak and are sounding like a 37minikey Casio Keyboard with an Urei compressor.

Surprisingly crap. Lacks alot of essential stuff. Not a Motif. What were Roland thinking? This is like a cross between the motif and a not good trinity. Nothing new.
