The best buy I've ever made. Got my RD600 10 years ago and it's still working great. I had to replace the hammers after 7 years, which was an easy task.

I bought a used RD600 6 years ago and I've never been happier. I admit that the pads/organ sounds aren't as good, but I bought this one for it's pianos which are superb. It has a great "pianic" touch of the keyboard. But the best of all is the "stage rhodes" sound, which has a rusty Ray Charles kind of warmth to it, absolutely the best rhodes I've played, I can't seem to have enough of it. It seems to be very durable but - on the down side - it's one heavy instrument (54 lbs. or 25 KG) so you'll need to be fit if you want to move it around.

Bob a professional user from Australia writes:
My RD 600 has been fantastic. I use it for private teaching and frequent live performances. It is a little on the heavy side, however, the user interface, I believe is far superior to newer models. I fault I have had is the plastic arm/lever that has the weight in it- I have just had to have more than 20 of these replaced. Broken, cracked or starting to...

I waited around 2 years and finally got one of these, well worth it. also apart from being a great sounding piano it has some other fine voices which you can tweak a little. the only down side is the yamaha CP samples arnt quite there yet but 10 out of 10 all the same.

calebwong a hobbyist user from Hong Kong writes:
The piano sounds so good. But i have some question, i very give thanks for any people can give a suggestion. I have use the RD-600, but i don't know how to tune the best setting for RD-600, i already use the preset songs&default setting. I hope after the tuning, the GrandPiano Sound can better than default setting(now, i feel the MiddleHigh of area are so bright, i want the piano sound like the GrandPiano sounds more), Thanks for watching!! And Give Thanks to all!!
