Bought the S-10 brand new;out of the box & been dedicated ever since.I sample thru an old Symetrix voice processer, like a digital frontend&output it as well.I defy anyone pro or otherwise to tell me that it doesn't sound incredible!Even by today's standards!!!

I own the S10 along with the MKS 100 and S220 samplers, all of these have QD Problems and the Belts for them are hard to find, Roland certainly didnt plan ahead when they included these ill fated drives in the instrumemts, at least with a floppy drive you can still fix them. the S10 makes a great controller though and is heavy duty enough to go on stage with.
