Probably not worth the vintage price tag you could pay for it but I got mine at a flea market, making it a real score. It's great in an 80's way, and also has real capability for weird/distorted/harsh sounds. Best instrument on it is brass, for me, because of the way you can warp it using the LFO effects. Strings are also very nice. You can run sound in, which is also altered w/ the on-board eq and chorus as well. It's mono.

You're limited to 2 out of 4 instruments, realistically, and there's no midi. Aside from that, it's a fun one to have if you can get one under $200. I'm keeping mine until I get something better. Nice little toy.

Pretty much forget about it for anything but strings, but the strings are very nice. It's actually manufactured by Siel and sold by SCI. One of the cool things is that the "effects section" (chorus and EQ) will take external inputs, so you can run say, your Rhodes through them. Rating is based on "how good it is at what its designed for".
