I bought my AX7 new in 1990, then owned some others, but still play this one a lot. Good samples, great flute, brass and I've created some cool sounds with the synth palette. Very durable, took it away last weekend ! nothing is broken... but I'd consider replacing the built in speakers.. they are a bit tired after 20 years. It has some very lame grooves (canned rhythms) unless you dig salsa and samba, waltz and stuff. The 120 ppq resolution makes the rhythm tracks pretty limited. And I do own the original demo memory card and a spare card (with a whopping 32K capacity (that's "K" NOT "M" )... it holds two sequences. The memory card is probably a collectors item !

Hi, I bought my Ax7 in new 1989, in Holland, while on assignment.Excellent quality. Great voices and features. Have not used it much. Works great with Cakewalk. I have not played it in years, just took it out for some Christmas songs. I wonder if anyone ever bought a memory card for it. I will probably sell it soon. With s/s pedal and volume.

I own the ax-sx7 now for a couple of years, and like al technics products this is a high quality product, first of al the sound is great, dont think of great analogue synthesiser sounds from this keyboard!its more like a very good sounding digital synthesiser, with very good sounds from the eighties(like the yamaha dx-7)and these sounds are very good to use, stil today, all the percussion sounds are great!(piano,e-piano,mallet,music box,steeldrum,etc..)combining this keyboard wit a analogue synthesiser(i own also a elka synthex-jx8p-juno 106)and you wil have a great setup! And the keyboard plays fantastic! This keyboards has his own sound like some other keyboards do not have, all sounds can be chanced and can be saved
