Love my V3. Sounds as good or beter than the V5 plus a free leslie simulator.
I NEED A SET OF THE V3 MIDI DRAWBARS. IF ANYONE HASA SET, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AT MY EMAIL ADDRESS firstname.lastname@example.org I'd be glad to take them off your hands. 317-507-7191.

I've played thousands of Hammonds in the last 10 years. I've worked on them for almost 3 years. I've played the V3 through both straight speakers and a real leslie. there are a few things that still aren't there. such as the articulation of the multiple contact keyboard of the Hammond(not just key click). when you press a key down on a Hammond, not all 9 of the contacts hit all 9 busbars at the same time. this is noticable even if you aren't playing in a staccato style, but especially noticable if you are. another thing is the high frequency bleed through you get on a hammond when you hold a chord with the perc on and play a bass note on the same manual. the chorus imitation still isn't convincing enough and it still doesn't have the overall spirit and soul to the tone that it's electromagnetic counterpart does. overall though it's not bad. it seems to be made well. but before I'd invest $1000+ into one, I'd find that hundred dollar A100 and portabalize that son of a bitch using the upper manual and generator and a trek II preamp.

HAVING PLAYED THE B3 AND OTHER HAMMOND MODELS, PLUS A FEW OF THE SO SO
KORGS BX2 TRAYNOR ORGAN KEYBOARD THAT CAME OUT IN 1980S THEIRS KNOW DOUBT
ABOUT THE VOCE V3 IS THE CLOSEST SOUND TO THE B3. ESPECIALLY THROUGH A
LESLIE 122 OR 147. I UNDERSTAND THEY MAY HAVE MADE SOME IMPROVEMENTS TO
THEIR NEWER MODULE THE VOCE V5. BETTER OR STRONGER PERCUSSION EFFECTS PLUS
BETTER LESLIE VOLUME. ONE THING ABOUT THE V3 THAT CONCERNED ME WAS THE
SAMPLING ON THE UNIT IS A LITTLE NOISEY, THE ONBOARD EQ DOES MASK MOST
OF THE HIGH END HISS, AND ONCE YOUR PLAYING WITH A GROUP YOU DON'T EVEN
NOTICE IT. ALL IN ALL IT BEATS CARING AROUND A 400 POUND PIECE OF
FURNITURE. THERE ARE A SEVERAL COMPETIORS OUT THEIR WITH THERE CLONES
FOR THE VALUE VOCE HAS MY VOTE.
