I love the way you get out what you put in, although it dose color the sound slightly obviously not in the same way the older mpc's do, but I like to have more of a say on how I would like specific samples to sound and the mpc2500 lets me do just that. It's built well and dosen't have any problems when it comes to getting parts

I like the whole idea of the MPC 2500. It has solid hardware. I hate the bugs. To spend hours on a project and not be sure that you'll ever retrieve the session again because of its unpredictable wrong file error really piss me off. I installed the jj os 3.10 and it works alot better but jj os 3.10 dont offer direct record feature which is big for a dj slash producer like myself. I hope some resolutions to the problems occur very soon. Anybody know a way around the bugs, let me know.

i've been using mpc's for years, i've had em' all...60's,2000's,3000's you name it. with the JJ o.s. the 2500 is solid. i love the wav file dump over usb. ive got a 80gig hard drive, no more floppies, thank god. the dvd drive is a nice touch, you can sample right off the cd. the whloe new mpc verses old mpc debate is silly. if you're getting into the game now, get the latest gear....you're not making beats for 1988, you're making beats for 2008 and beyond..the good ole days weren't always that good

I thought of buying a 2500, but when I read this, I am very unsure. What kind of "glitches" do you mean ?? The USB connection, the sound? My English is far from perfect. Regards
