Sonic Projects have announced new mini versions, OP-X FREE and OP-X PLAYER of their OP-X synth. A company spokesperson had this to say, "The new budget line preset synths are the cheapest way to get access to all those phantastic OP-X sounds, for free and just $39!"
Here's how the company describes each synth...

• OP-X FREE is completely free and offers a small set of chosen original OP-X sounds for free use. It can be upgraded anytime.
• OP-X PLAYER looks the same, but can load and play every existing OP-X patch with identical sound as in the big OP-X and comes with the full OP-X library containing more than 500 sounds. Cost: Only $39!
