Soniccouture has announced their latest product, Grand Marimba.

A spokesperson told us...
"We respectfully assert the notion that this is the most detailed & expressive sampling of a marimba available today : we produced the instrument because there didn't seem to be a marimba out there that could truly stand up to solo use. So, we found the ultimate 5 octave model : a Yamaha 6100 series, and sampled it at 24/96 khz, with enough velocity and round robin layers to ensure a natural, organic percussive action."
