Propellerhead Software - the company behind ReCycle and ReBirth, probably the most successful software synthesizer to date - has confirmed that its much anticipated third release, the all-singing, all-dancing supersynthstudiothingy Reason, is scheduled for release in November. Reason is an 'infinitely expandable software MIDI studio with samplers, synthesizers, Rex-file players (the tech in its other products), drum machines, eight effect processors complete, its own built-in sequencer and ReWire compatibility for connection to major sequencers such as Cubase and Logic.' The announcement comes as Niels Larsen, formerly of Arbiter in the UK - Britain's own Mr Cubase, you could say - moves to Propellerhead to become international sales manager.
