NAMM:NEW S5/6000 OS
Look, loads of 'em linked together 19/01/01 Akai were showing off the new OS 2.1 which enables PC (or mac) control of multiple devices through their own proprietory ak.sys networking software comprising the Program Editor, Multi Editor and Virtual S6000 Remote Control Panel which 'brings convienient access to all sampler functions.' How, er... convenient. Further enhancements include:up to 32 samplers can be controlled from one computer with drag and drop operations as standard - now that could be handy.
