Korg has redesigned the original Kaoss pad, and released the KP-2 ‘Kaoss Pad two’. This time with new features, and more effects.

Touch Pad lets you use your fingertips to control how the effect is applied, allowing you to process sounds in directly intuitive ways - ideal for DJ work or laying down tracks. 100 effect programs are built-in. New BPM functions allow onboard effects to be BPM locked in a variety of ways

Direct input sampling is now available with up two 6 seconds at 44.1 kHz available on each sampling button. The Pad Motion function lets you record and reproduce complex finger movements on the touch pad. Highly original effect sounds can be played back instantly. Mute function. MIDI IN/OUT. Now allowing control from external MIDI devices The coloring of the touch pad varies now depending on touch position and effect selection. – lots of pretty colors!
