MESSE: Plugzilla Nominated

US The press say yes at the MESSE      27/02/03

Manifold Labs announced today that Plugzilla, its flagship rack-based standalone plug-in player, has been nominated for the 2003 Musikmesse International Press Award in the Recording category. (see MESSE news) Plugzilla caused a bit of a storm at the recent NAMM show in the US for it's two independent fully routable machines capable of running 32 channels of reverb, and the ability to simultaneously power as many as eight plug-ins. In addition, Plugzilla can store thousands of plug-ins and presets internally and features USB and Compact Flash connections for efficient plug-in transfers. The rackmounted Plugzilla is capable of running nearly any VST plug-in, and has been touted as one of the industry’s most exciting new products since its inception at the 2003 NAMM show in Los Angeles. Manifold Labs, the pioneer in standalone plug-in players, plans to begin shipping Plugzilla overseas this summer. “We have worked tirelessly to build a standalone plug-in player that will add a new dimension to front of house mixing, live stage rigs, recording studios and mastering rooms,” said Tony Agnello of Manifold Labs. “The Musikmesse International Press Award nomination is validation for our efforts, and evidence that the industry is excited about this new category of pro audio equipment.” Plugzilla features an intuitive user interface, Eventide, Inc. will manufacture and distribute PlugzillaTM worldwide.
