Alongside the PlayMate Vocalist, Alesis has introduced the PlayMate Guitarist, a performance and practice tool for guitarists. The PlayMate Guitarist provides comprehensive guitar effects processing in the form of 80 editable multi-effects and has a built-in CD player that performs sophisticated tasks such as changing the pitch without affecting the tempo, allowing a guitarist to always play a song in the optimal key. The music tempo can also be changed without affecting the pitch so difficult pasages can be learned or practising can be carried out at faster tempos. The PlayMate Guitarist can transpose music 7 semitones (or half-steps) up or down, and finely adjust the pitch by plus or minus 8%. The tempo range is from 50% to 150%. Connections include one Hi-Z guitar input, two headphone outputs, and stereo balanced line outputs. More from:
