Vox has introduced the AC30 Custom Classic series based on the original 1959 Vox AC30. It combines attributes of the original with "boutique" features that bring the AC30 to a new level of sophistication.
The main features of the new amp are two blendable channels (top boost and dual mode normal treble), fully variable tremolo on both channels, custom/normal tone network switch, spring reverb with depth and tone controls plus dwell switch, master volume, true bypass effects loop, and switchable cathode bias and filter capacitor values. The AC30 Custom Classic also features a baltic birch ply cabinet, footswitch for tremolo and reverb on/off and extension speaker jacks with impedance switch. A 1 x 12 compact combo and a 2 x 12 combo are available as well as a stack with head and 4 x 12 cabinet.
