Musicians will soon be able to purchase the Open Synth neKo64, the Open Studio OMX64 and Controller One directly from Open Labs new online store dedicated to servicing the U.K. The site will go live on August 1, 2004. Prices will start at UKP2,995 for the neKo64 equipped with a single 1.4GHz Opteron 64bit processor/512MB RAM/80GB 7200RPM HD/CDRW/Video/Touchscreen/10ins- 10 outs Audio. Shipping to the U.K is provided free of charge. VAT is not included. Customer support will be provided via email and telephone and replacement parts will be shipped direct from the US to the U.K. Given the open design of the neKo64 and OMX64, most parts can be easily replaced by the user. Complete instructions will be provided. Open Labs will pay for shipping charges for outgoing replacement parts. The end user will be responsible for shipping charges for incoming parts. All Open Labs products are provided with a full 1-year limited warranty. Upgrades and custom configured units are also available direct.
