SNAMM04: Motorized Keyboard Stands
Up and Down - no hands ;-)

One of the most interesting aspects of going around music trade shows is seeing all the small companies whose products might ordinarily fly underneath the news radar and be missed in the flurry of corporate press releases and glizty launches.

Once such company I stumbled across was Solid Stand Inc. who manufacture a range of keyboard stands called, appropriately enough - Solid Stands.

OK, nothing new there, I thought, but no - there's a twist... well actually a 'raise', for these stands are motorized, and can gracefully go up and down at the press of a button.

Neat... I think? Actually I'm strugling to think of an occasion where I've needed such a thing, but that's maybe 'cos I'm a bass player ;-)
Company President Jeff Johnson obviously has no such qualms, and has launched a range of erectile stands upon an unsuspecting world. We wish him and his staff all the best.

We grabbed a quick video of it in action - see for yourselves...

And if you need more information,I'm sure you'll find it at their website:-
