CD Baby, the hugely popular Web sales and distribution hub for independent artists and labels, has teamed up with BitPass to make it's entire catalogue available for download on their Mperia.com music store. Mperia.com, which specialises in letting indie artists upload and sell their music without any upfront fees, gets 300,000 of CD Babys tracks to sell, and CD Baby gets more exposure for its artists. And with tracks on Mperia.com way cheaper than iTunes or Napster (from 25 cents), everyones a winner! "BitPass' goal aligns nicely with CD Baby's in that we are both working to offer independent artists distribution options while giving them the highest possible return for their work," said CD Baby President Derek Sivers. Anything that means artists get to keep a higher percentage of the revenues they generate sounds good to us. More at;
