Quite the stars of the show were the ladies, gentlemen and small children of the East West /Quantum Leap Symphonic Choir, a stunning collection totalling over 37GB of phonetically sampled and meticulously looped vocal sounds. The idea being that you can type in your desired text using a phonetic alphabet into the editor, then get the gang to sing your words while you play the notes. Now I know this doesn’t sound particularly exciting, but to hear the massed ranks of the undisclosed, but particularly well recorded (surround sound no less) choir, is something that has to be heard to be believed. The collection spans 37GB and was recorded in the same concert hall, with the same team of engineers and producers as the award-winning EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA. This is the first 24-bit Choir sample library to include three simultaneous stereo mic setups (close, stage and hall), so users can mix together any combination of mic positions to control tone and ambience. The collection was designed to blend perfectly with EWQLSO. Features include Approximately 37 Gigabytes in size. MSRP $995
