Open Labs today announced that the Sam Ash Music Corporation has agreed to carry the line of Open Labs keyboards and workstations. This means that, if you’re in the US, you’ll now be able to wander into any of it’s 48 stores in 16 states.
The Open Labs NeKoâ„¢ keyboard workstation and OMXâ„¢ digital audio workstations (DAW) are the first music products to incorporate 64-bit computer technology and Windows-based software, breaking a computer music barrier that enables musicians to play, record, mix, and master professional-quality music on a single piece of equipment.
Sam Ash, billed (by themselves we suspect) as “The World’s Favorite Music Store, will initially carry the Open Labs NeKo and OMX equipment in its flagship New York City store on West 48th Street in mid-town Manhattan, which is a mecca for musicians around the world. If you’re in NYC – you gotta go (I did last time I was there)
Additionally, the NeKo and OMX products will be sold through SamAsh.com, the wholly-owned e-commerce subsidiary of Sam Ash Music.
