Soniccouture have produced a new edition of their Variable Ambience Drums library to fully utilise the new features in the long awaited Kontakt 2.1 update. Soniccouture have also teamed up with Native Instruments to provide 7 free instruments bundled with the Kontakt 2.1 Update, available to all Kontakt 2 users from the Native Instruments website.

    V.A Drums was recorded at Real World Studios, England, and features fully controllable direct and ambient microphone mixing across 9 drum kits. Utilising over 1300 24-bit samples, 7 velocity layers and up to 5 positions on each of the 7 different snares, Sonicouture claim that V.A. Drums is one of the most natural, expressive drum kits available.
