Free Online Orchestration Class

US Best students will win prizes for electronic orchestration work      30/11/06
Music technology leaders EastWest, Tascam, and VI-Control.net are sponsoring Alexander Publishing's new Orchestration Class of the 21st Century with contests, prizes, and virtual classroom space.
At the conclusion of a standard semester of this free online course that starts on December 11, 2006, students will have written and produced more than a dozen original works, giving them a start to a publishing portfolio and possibly their first album.

The top three winners will receive EastWest Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra in one of three versions; QLSO Platinum (a $2795 value) for first place, QLSO Gold (a $995 value) for second place and QLSO Silver (a $295 value) for third place.
The next eight students will win an individual copy of Tascam's award winning GigaStudio 3 in its new GVI format, a $349 value.
