Weird World: DJ Uses Wii Remote to Make a Racket
But is it art? 27-Apr-07
The Nintendo Wii system seems to have captured the imagination of a few as a real-time control for musical uses. In this piece MAX MSP and Jitter are controlled to entertain the crowd. I’m not sure how much of this I could take if I was actually there – it being quite er, challenging listening, but it does open up the possibility of more gesture controlled music using the WiiMote.
