Steinberg has announced a competition for users of its Sequel Music Creation and Performance Software.
The composer of the best, most creative track submitted before February 1, 2008 will win the impressive first prize: a complete beginner production studio including all the hardware and software needed for serious music production. Among the prizes are first-class products from renowned manufacturers such as Intel, Fujitsu-Siemens Computers, Yamaha, Sennheiser, Digitech, Ultrasone and Steinberg. Submissions can also be produced on the free Sequel Trial version that can be downloaded from the dedicated sequel website listed below.
Frank Seidel, Steinberg’s Product Manager for Sequel, told us, “We’re very pleased to be able to offer such an amazing first prize: a complete studio package including a laptop from Fujitsu-Siemens Computers based on Intel Core 2 Duo technology, a mixer, synthesizer, microphones, a guitar effect workstation, headphones and, of course, professional music production software by Steinberg. There are absolutely no limits on the creativity of submissions, any genre is welcome. Reflecting the Sequel philosophy, this competition is all about creativity and diversity as far as music genres are concerned. We’re very excited and looking forward to receiving many creative tracks. Availability:
Competition closes February 1, 2008.
