M-Audio’s DJ devision was launched last year with the TORQ software at it’s heart. This year TORQ V1.5 is announced, with a release date in a few weeks, and will add a bunch of features to it’s already impressive array.

We caught up with Chad Carrier, the inventor of the system which partners up with the Xponent and Connectiv hardware for an overview of the new version.

DJ Sean Sax    Said...

I was on Torq before but was forced to switch to another digital dj system because of one reason: the browser. It was terrible.

No amount of new features will make me go back to Torq if its inadequacies at properly reading/tagging mp3s hasn't been addressed. If it HAS been fixed, I will go back to Torq yesterday.
