Turkish Delight

PowerFX has announced the release of Gabi Masso Oriental String Sessions 1-3, as one downloadable sample CD.
PowerFX tell us that these Middle Eastern string arrangements were performed by top Turkish session players and recorded in one of Istanbul's finest studios. The y say that the ensemble consisted of 11 Violins, 3 Violas and a Cello recorded together in 24-bit stereo, and meticulously edited into full phrases, loops and one shots. The collection features over 420 loops, phrases and riffs of various length, key and bpm with a distinct oriental flavor that is offered in both Apple Loops and Acid formats for enhanced use with compatible software.
Bil Bryant of PowerFX told us, “The players performed to hip hop and house backing tracks as well as Middle Eastern rhythms like baladi, saidy, and wehda so the feel of the samples works well with contemporary music while keeping its unique traditional characteristics. We believe music producers will find these beautifully played and dazzling arranged ensemble strings very inspiring.
