Clear Complex have released Transistor, which they tell us is a slicer plug-in with a different approach. They say that Transistor is a Windows VST slicer/sampler plug-in to create fills from drum parts or to recreate loops or entire mixes and apply various effects to modulate the sound.
Transistor has 7 effects with 9 controllers each with 4 patterns and 4 subpatterns. Everything is done in sync with the host and in realtime with total control over which MIDI-note to assign to trigger a subpattern. Clear Complex say that you can hold notes for returning later for each effect separately.
Features:
  • 16 step sequencer for modulating effects
  • 7 effects with a total of 9* controls
  • Each control has 4 patterns each with 4 subpatterns with separate startpositions and lengths
  • Each subpattern is triggered by a MIDI-note of your choice
  • Automatable global controls for modulating the pattern
Effects:
  • Realtime slicer/sampler
  • Level
  • Pan
  • Distortion
  • Lowpass filter (separate control for cutoff and resonance*)
  • Highpass filter (separate control for cutoff and resonance*)
  • Reversing
Pricing and Availability:
€89, $129, £65.
