The fourth album from electro-popsters Goldfrapp signals another change of tack – this time favouring a more subtle folk approach with a nod to the Californian songsters of the 70s. That’s not to say that there are no synthesizers involved – oh no. We caught up with Will Gregory, one half of the creative duo that are (or should that be is?) Goldfrapp and talked synths and processing.

I didnt think there was any chicanery going on with the modulars in the 70's? I thought all that happened with moog in the 90's when a welsh chap was makign mini's?
the four voice is a beast...i remember thinking when i used one that it was more lethal than a memorymoog, and that's REALLY saying something! :-D 13-Jun-08 09:22 PM shekhar dhain Said...
