The news item has already been posted on these new budget controllers from Korg, but we were lucky enough to get some quality time with Ian Bradshaw who was looking after the new models at LIMS. In the flesh, they are plastic and lightweight - nine channel Kontrol might slip about under some vigorous faderidge, the but at the cost they are really hard to beat for chucking in the bag with your laptop. I'm certainly going to be picking at least one of them up and I'm sure I wont be alone. For the full story: click here

Very nice product line! Cheap and very useful for so many musicians!

Yeah they have a certain cute "I want one" appeal. I think perhaps that the idea might be better than the actuality for some of them - the Kontrol might slip about when vigorously wiggled and the keyboard is really not serious for any kind of playing I suspect. I hope we'll get them in for review and let y'all know.
