A lot of work has gone into this machine and whilst arranger keyboards may not be the most sexy of products, this one seems to have a ton of features which make it's price tag look a little low. (It's retailing for around £599 we're told).

More From: ROLANDCool update to the GW-7. It would have been nice to hear more sounds though-especially since he mentioned "sonic-cell technology" used on the new GW-8. I might pick one of these up.

Interesting instrument, I would have liked to hear more sounds as well... Maybe I have luck and see one around...

How about strings, pads, strange noises, base , brass ? Come on man. Astonishing that untill this day i can't find a very good demo. What the one demo has, the other has not. The domo's should be more convincing.

I bought the Roland GW8, and tried it out. I had trouble keeping prvious setting while setting other perameters. It would change to different sounds or play two sounds at the same time while not being set for it. The Roland GW8 was quirky as can be. I asked for a refund and sent it back.
