You do not have to go on Live stage with it. If you listen to what he is saying is that it can be used in private practice. If it works as it is claimed, then I would prefer to hear myself and not shout on stage when floor monitors are not working properly or if they even exist.. great for small club environment I would think. It doesn't look like it attaches to your head, it can be mounted to a mic or to a mic stand with no mic for personal practice at home...I checked out www.vamacoustics.com I am going to buy one. makes sense to me.
