Tara Busch Tells Us How To Get Featured On YouTube

Somewhere Over the Rainbow - Youtube gold... 01-Jul-08

Tara Busch of AnalogSuicide.com has gotten some major love from YouTube recently, when her rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow was featured on it’s front page.

In the video she appears to sing the song forwards while her actions are backwards. It’s quite eerie and is a technique used by David Lynch in Twin Peaks, but featuring a much less easy on the eye dwarf type character. In this video posted on our sister site Sonicstate.TV she shows us how it was done – fascinating.

Very cool...

A band called MuteMath did a similar type of thing for their video TYPICAL, where they learned to play and sing all their parts backwards, so that when they flipped the video around, the video would go backwards but the audio would go forwards... drums was apparently even harder than the vocals!!!

No MutMath mimed to backwards footage, tara actually sang backwards and it sounded perfect forwards. Much more talented in my opinion.
