Steinberg has announced two new Content Sets for its Sequel 2 Music Creation and Performance Software. They tell us that the two new sets each add over 250 MB of first-class loops to the already formidable loop library included with Sequel 2 covering the genres Funk and Electro. Crafted by professional audio content producers, the new sets are exclusively available through Steinberg’s website.
“These sets are ideal for anyone using Sequel 2 or Cubase 4* that needs top-quality content in these popular genres to spark new song ideas, comments Nadine Roos, Steinberg’s Product Marketing Manager for Sequel. “With three Content Sets covering Rock, Hip Hop and Industrial already available, we’re now pleased to offer additional content to cover even more musical ground. All five sets are also instantly accessible in two ways: because they’re all totally integrated into the MediaBay sound management database in both Sequel and Cubase*, customers can get their new song ideas happening almost instantly. And because Sequel Content Sets are exclusively available through the online distribution services on our website, they can be downloaded right away, Roos adds.
Here’s what Steinberg have to say…
The Sequel Content Set Elektro offers 250 MB of loops ideal not only for straight-up Electronica but also Dance, House, Minimal, Trance, and Drum and Bass. The Funky Content Set offers over 290 MB for both the latest 21st century funk grooves as well as traditional funk sounds reminiscent of the golden age of funk in the 1970s – and everything in between. All Sequel Content Sets feature Construction Kits, a system that groups together ‘related’ audio material out-of-the- box, offering an ideal way of getting started with any of the Sequel loop collections.
*Sequel 2 Content Sets are supported by all current products in the Cubase product family from version 4.5. Pricing and Availability:
Sequel Content Sets costs €14.90** each, and are available exclusively through Steinberg’s online distribution . **Suggested Retail Price including 19% German VAT. Prices subject to regional variations. More information:
